cloud-image-utils software package provides cloud image management utilities, you can install in your Ubuntu 16.04 LTS (Xenial Xerus) by running the commands given below on the terminal,
$ sudo apt-get update $ sudo apt-get install cloud-image-utils
cloud-image-utils is installed in your system.
Make ensure the cloud-image-utils package were installed using the commands given below,
$ sudo dpkg-query -l | grep cloud-image-utils *
You will get with cloud-image-utils package name, version, architecture and description in a table
